Solve for b. d = 3a + 3b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

so, what do you think? Any attempts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz dont try to explain it takes way to long

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i have a lot of questions i need to ask

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

subtract 3a from both sides divide by 3 to isolate b

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

d=3a+3b d-3a=3b now divide by three from both sides

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

That is what this site is for. Help, not answers. Please read http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

If you learn how to do this, you won't need to ask the questions.

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

So again, what do you think you need to do first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b=d-3a/3

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

that seems right except you need parentheses (d-3a)/3=b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please don't be mean or i will show you wrong, i was just asking a question @FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

I am not being mean. I am referring you to the rules as above, you seemed oblivious to them.
