@CausticSyndicalist

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

For the love of God im counting on you to answer two question man

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

I just need my answeres checked

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

Well, let's see. What would your answer be for this question?

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

False

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

It's actually True.

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

Please explain to me why i must know

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

"Movements of tectonic plates create volcanoes along the plate boundaries, which erupt and form mountains. A volcanic arc system is a series of volcanoes that form near a subduction zone where the crust of a sinking oceanic plate melts." "A rift valley is a linear-shaped lowland between several highlands or mountain ranges created by the action of a geologic rift or fault." "Strike-slip faults are vertical (or nearly vertical) fractures where the blocks have mostly moved horizontally. If the block opposite an observer looking across the fault moves to the right, the slip style is termed right lateral; if the block moves to the left, the motion is termed left lateral. " In other words, plate tectonics do have a part in the formation of these structures.

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

The three major types of faults are normal, reverse and syncline. Please select the best answer from the choices provided T F

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

Is the answer true @CausticSyndicalist this is my last question

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

It could be false, since syncline is actually used to describe a fold in rock that bends downward to form a valley. The correct list of faults are normal, reverse and strike-slip.

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):

I submitted my exam to scared to look

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

Ah, I understand that. :P

OpenStudy (andrewthecookie):

u need halp or NAH

OpenStudy (dulljackel09):
