Whats is the correct definition of "fractions"
Wow ~ k ~ Fraction: a numerical quantity that is not a whole number (e.g., 1/2, 0.5). [google] err... here's more on fractions~ http://www.mathsisfun.com/fractions.html

www.google.com
Yes, google, very very very useful~
@American.Eagle Is that definition okay? Do you have answer options?
its like this :- a healthy number called WHOLE we broke it , and took piece of it so its got a fraction :P
simply a fraction is a part of whole number
Interesting @Marki
Isn't \(4/2\) still a fraction though?
that definition reminds me of cakes and pizzas !
So is \(\dfrac{9}{9}\)
@ganeshie8 how was lunch?
no wio both 4/2 and 9/9 both rational not fraction
4/2 and 9/9 are rational numbers but we can "think" of them as normal fractions unless you're particular about their definitions in analysis..
well in fact , fraction is only schools term :|
have you heard of K.I.S.S? :P
analysis is about language and definitions it has nothing to do with K.I.S.S ;p
what is K.I.S.S?
Keep it short and simple
