Since you are new here, read this legendary tutorial for new OpenStudiers!! http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/543de42fe4b0b3c6e146b5e8 What are we supposed to do with it? @SaraMills

Nnesha (nnesha):

distribute bracket by 18

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Are we solving for y? Are we solving for x? Do we have to graph it?

pooja195 (pooja195):

first your going to distribute 18 to x so you get 18x then your going to multiply 18 by -5 and get -90

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@Nnesha We don't know what to do.

Nnesha (nnesha):

multiply 18 times x = ?? multiply 18 times -5 = ??

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

there are infinite things we can do to an equation.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

maybe not infinite... :P

pooja195 (pooja195):

y-96=18x-90

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

What if she needs to graph it?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

http://desmos.com/calculator

pooja195 (pooja195):

she cant in needs to be in slope intercept form

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Well lets ask the asker... @SaraMills hello?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

she is gone..

pooja195 (pooja195):

well at the end just add 96 to both sides to get y=18x+6

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

What if the question what is teh slope?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

the*

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Or what is the y-intercept or x-intercept?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Just making my point here :P

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

^ same

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

And while you are at it just give the domain and range and even asymptotes, graph, x and y intercept solving for x and solving for y and even the slope @MARC_ :P

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:p @TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

And while you are at it just give the domain and range and even asymptotes, graph, x and y intercept, solving for x and solving for y and even the slope of the equation @MARC_ :P With better grammar...
