Someone help me.. I'll fan and give a medal

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay do you know what does they mean by average rate of change ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A little.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

someone help pleaseee

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

rate of change = slope \[slope = \frac{ rise }{ run } = \frac{ y _{2}-y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1} } \]when given points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) plug in x1 = -1 x2 = 2 y1 = -3 y2 = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is the answer 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sleepyhead314 ?

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

yeah, that's what I got :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so so much! ill fan and give you a medal
