Select the best analogy. elation : to carry :: A. exhilarated : to stretch B. contrite : to bend C. coherent : to place D. exonerated : out of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LeeEtchison

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ya i need lots of help :D

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Just to clarify, you are asking which of the parts of each answer are the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, im asking for the analogy. so whatever means the same, like'''''smart:to know'''''

OpenStudy (fallenangelorchid):

C. Coherent : to place And geesh. what a tag party.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if exihlarate meant to to carry, then a would be true @geneticrockhopper247

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Exhilarate doesn't mean to carry though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know, it was just an example @geneticrockhopper247

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Coherent means logical, so "to place" isn't correct. exonerate means to be released (like they exonerated the prisoner), so I think that it would be D.

OpenStudy (helpblahblahblah):

I agree with @geneticrockhopper247

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

@i-suck-at-school Does this make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no... i dont understand

OpenStudy (fallenangelorchid):

Go with C @i-suck-at-school my friend had the exact same quiz and said C was the answer. Here: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/52d58b8fe4b080064a6bdb2e

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

What part of it is confusing you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks! @fallenangelorchid

OpenStudy (fallenangelorchid):

Your welcome lad.

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Hmmm. That is odd. I'd be curious to see the reasoning behind using C as the answer (from the curriculum).

OpenStudy (fallenangelorchid):

I would be as well, but when he took the quiz he got it correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

super : sub :: A. extra : exl B. ab : frango C. jungo : cerno D. per : sequor

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Okay, this one looks like it is asking for opposites.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

select the best analogy is what its asking for

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Jungo and cerno are opposites (jungo meand to bring together and cerno means to separate). Let me check the rest of them. Hang on just a sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Per means through and sequor means to follow or go after

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@fallenangelorchid @HelpBlahBlahBlah @HelpOfTheGods

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@gold_grace123

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

frango means to break or shatter and ab means, essentially, not or away.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mesopretty

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

I think that jungo and cerno are going to be your best bet.

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

@i-suck-at-school Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Select the best analogy. 24. (5 pt) verso : torqueo :: A. super : frango B. ab : stringo C. sub : pono D. luein : solvo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

okay, gotta consult a dictionary...hang on a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):
