OpenStudy (summyy2242):

A group that has exclusive business rights and titles. A. Company B. Corporation C. Investment D. Proprietorship

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

What do you think it is.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@summyy2242

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

company

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

THis is not hard question from economics

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Yeah. I also think its a company.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

no

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Or I don;t think so

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Oh yeah.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Its a corporation. Right. @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yes, but can want to just explain all the terms

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Yes.

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

that was my second guess corporation

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@SolomonZelman What is the difference btween a company and a corporation?

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

corporation entity thats separate from owners, company is a partnership

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Ok.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

basically: Sole \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm proprietorship }\) is a business made by 1 person, and the person is liabale for all spendings. \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm Investment }\) is what you "invest" in business, I am sure you know this word. \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm Corporation }\) is an independent legal business owned by some shareholders. (the shareholders themselves are not liable for anything) \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm Partnership }\) is a business made by 2 people (or maybe more), but it is a simple system (unlike corporation, where the liable people are the partners (all of them). \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm Company }\) can be either \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm proprietorship }\), \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm partnership }\) or a \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm corporation }\).

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

i would say corporation

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Yes, that is what I am leaning to

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

because not any company has exclusive business rights and titles

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

and \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm proprietorship }\) is firstly not a group of people, rather it is an individual business (in most cases). Secondly, in proprietorship there is most liability (with on advantage, the business maker gets all profit and winnings). and \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm investment }\) is not a human being, it is the money or "value" invested into some business.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

with *one advantage.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

summyy, is there anything that makes not a lot of sense, any concerns? I will be happy to address them with you:)

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

i understand now! thank you but i have a question on another

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

Converting Terminology via computers. A. Cryptography B. Technology C. Geometry D. Geology

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

are you trying to define these terms noramlly?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

*normally

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

"Match the correct term with the definition."

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

i think Cryptography

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

or technology

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

what are yu matching the terms to?

OpenStudy (summyy2242):

nothing i just have to try and match it with the question

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I can try... \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm Cryptography }\) is a method of storing and transmitting data in a particular form so that only those for whom it is intended can read and process it. Computational \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm geometry }\) is a branch of computer science devoted to the study of algorithms which can be stated in terms of geometry. (it is a mathematical computer program )

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am not sure about what D means, I would guess, it is a computer program for geology -(physical science). And \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm technology }\) most likely means (literally) the equipment.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am not sure, again, what you want to match these terms to. + IO am very poor at computer science

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

can't help without knowing the actual question, sorry
