HELP MULITPLY CHOICEEE I GIVE MEDALS

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

what are they???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thin the first one is postive but im not for sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and maybe the second one

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Ok, well, you need to put it in slope-intercept form. Right now the first one is in standard form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay one sec

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

And you are correct about the second one is positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the first one i got y=-2/3-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that postive ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Should be y=-2/3x-3, but close enough. is -2/3 positive or negative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

negative ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Yep

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

So we have 1. negative 2. positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whaat bout the 3rd one ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

3 and 4 are easy. The x values are increasing. So if the y values are decreasing then the slope is negative, if the y values are increasing, the slope is positive.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so like Postive and Positive ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

The 4th one is positive. The values for y are decreasing on the 3rd one though. 9, 7, 5 is decreasing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks i get it now i have another question tho

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Ok, open a new thread

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

and tag me in it
