Juliàn te compras flores a ella. Is this grammatically correct?

OpenStudy (skyphos):

No not really in English this would sound like...Julian bought you flowers to her.

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

No, it is not grammatically correct. I think you are trying to say 'Julian bought flowers for her.' So, then that would be... "Juliàn compró flores para ella"

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

No, it is not grammatically correct. I think you are trying to say 'Julian bought flowers for her.' So, then that would be... "Julian compró flores para ella" OR "Julian le compro flores a ella"...maybe @skyphos knows the better way to say it. xD Conjugation of 'Comprar' [to buy] (preterite): Yo compré - I bought Tu compraste - You (informal) bought él/ella compró - He/she bought Usted compró - You (formal) bought Nosotros compramos - We bought Ellos/Ellas compraron - They bought Ustedes compraron - You all bought So using those, you know that Julian can also be said "he," so you know that 'Julian compró'.
