The Native Americans depended on buffalo for food. The Americans just killed them for fun. In the 1800's there was 60-100 million buffalo. Now there is only 500 thousand. This was a problem for the Native Americans. So there was a conflict. Based on this what can we choose as one of our answers. The Native Americans were not part of the U.S. so how could they secede. Based on this what can we eliminate. The Americans kept pushing the Native Americans off their land which led to the trail of tears. They had arguments of who owned what land. The Americans bought a lot of land by the Louisiana Purchase. They thought all the land was for them. But before the Louisiana Purchase the Native Americans were already living there. The Americans tried to push the Native Americans off onto reserves. The Native Americans tried to fight back and gt ownership of the land. So there was a conflict. Based on this what can we choose as the other answer. The Native Americans did not violate their treaties. In fact the Americans violated many of the treaties it had negotiated with Native American tribes. Based on this what can we eliminate. Source: My mind. I wrote this all by myself.
