OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

Which of the following numbers of replications of an experiment would make the results most conclusive? A. 1 B. 2 C. 14 D. 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In intercept form , the equation 12x-3y=4,becomes?

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

I replied on your question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help me for this?

OpenStudy (perl):

In the context of probability, if we do an experiment a few times the results could be a fluke. So if you do the experiment more times, the likelihood of it being a fluke becomes lower and the result is more conclusive

OpenStudy (perl):

for example, lets say you have a coin which you know nothing about. it could be a fair coin or a biased coin.

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

ok so the higher the number the better, in other words 14 would be the most conclusive

OpenStudy (perl):

right

OpenStudy (perl):

so in the case of a coin which you know nothing about, if you flip it once and get heads you can't really say much about it. but if you flip it 14 times and get heads , that should raise an eyebrow (this coin could be biased)

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

ok i get it now, thanks!!
