x-3=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to solve this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since you're only solving for x i would use reverse addition. your known numbers are 3 and 8. So when you add 3+8 you get 11. Now try plugging 11 in where the x is. 11-3 = ?
