A Unit rate is... Lets say you can get a dozen eggs for 6 bucks (I'm just guessing). How much is each egg? The answer is the unit rate, and in this case, $0.50. You get the answer by dividing the price by quantity. 6 divided by 12 = $0.50. And there you go!
