You distribute -5 into the parenthesis, which is to multiply it to all terms. So which one multiplies -5 to both 6 and 11?

Ya ^ that's what you're supposed to do first

No, not exactly..It only multiplies it to 6..then you add 11..it doesn't multiply to 11, so it's incorrect.
