The roots of a certain polynomial are -2/5, -6, and 4/3. What might the linear factors of the polynomial be? (5x + 2)(x – 6)(3x – 4) (5x – 2)(x + 6)(3x – 4) (5x + 2)(x + 6)(3x – 4) (5x + 2)(x + 6)(3x + 4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is probably C because it is always C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if -6 is a zero then one factor is \((x+6)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if \(x=\frac{4}{3}\) then \[3x=4\\ 3x-4=0\]so another factor is \(3x-4\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha it is C right? the -2,5 would be 5x+2 right?
