pls help with this question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx for your previous help anx

OpenStudy (anx):

|dw:1420683646191:dw| Graph is totally out of whack, but the end result will look similar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pls help me with answers for 6 - 10

OpenStudy (anx):

7). The equation for Forece f=ma, depends on each component. So changing one variable changes the outcome. Example. M = 50kg a = 2 m/s^2 F = 50kg x 2m/s^2 F = 100N but if we change M to 75kg M = 75kg a = 2m/s^2 F = 75kg x 2m/s^2 F = 150N

OpenStudy (anx):

8). Find acceleration Manipulate the Force equation F = ma well F and m are given so F/m = a so 4000/1500 = 2.667 m/s^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for your 7 do you mean 6 or did you skip 6

OpenStudy (anx):

Skipped 6 for a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ight

OpenStudy (anx):

9). Just use the F=ma equation F and M are given F= ma Manipulation gives us a = F/m 100g/20N = 5m/s^2 150g/ 20N = 7.5m/s^2 200g/ 20N = 10 m/s^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for 9 the 200g had greatest acceleration

OpenStudy (anx):

10). There is no change in the motorcycles movement, so the Net force is 0. Its motion in one dimension and one direction. Straight line means no change, which means no net force.

OpenStudy (anx):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anx):

6). Find net force to change speed. m = 2kg v = 6m/s t = 3s 6/3 = 2 F = ma F = 2(2) = 4N

OpenStudy (anx):

That v should be and a..i was thinking velocity instead of acceleration. my bad.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx so much

OpenStudy (anx):

What level of physics is this by the way?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

physical science high school grade 9

OpenStudy (anx):

Ohhh..okay, I was wondering why they were all questions that dealt directly with the Force equation and its 2 manipulations. I was figuring 8th grade physics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its easy for you huh

OpenStudy (anx):

I study mathematics and physics in university..of course its easy (=

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then can you help me with my last 6 problems pls thx so much anyway if you cant

OpenStudy (anx):

I thought I just did the last 6? but yeah, post em.

OpenStudy (anx):

errr 4..nvm I can't count. Go figure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea thx you did the last problems of one my pages of work this is the last page

OpenStudy (anx):

2). The reaction force of your foot on the ground pushes back up on you "pushing you forward."

OpenStudy (anx):

Skipping 1 for a sec.

OpenStudy (anx):

3). Newton's 3rd law says: "For every action, there is an equal or opposite force. Basically there is a positive anda negative force, or there is a force that is congruent to the first force. The size of the forces are equal. Resulting in zero or equilibrium.

OpenStudy (anx):

4). Momentum depends on mass and velocity. The equation is p = mv where p is momentum m is mass v is velocity.

OpenStudy (anx):

5). Its newtons 3rd law again, the outward force of the exhaust being pushed through the backward out of the plane, pushes the engine and plane forward. |dw:1420685497835:dw|
