What is the equation of the graphed line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cant see graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using the formula of a straight line and testing it with two nu,bers on y and x axis you will get it (y=ax+b) where b is a constant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a is the gradient if there are any ?

Basically find the number on the y-axis where the line intersects. That will the "b" in the y=mx+b equation. From the y-intercept, count units up and over until you've come to the next point, which in this case is (6,1). The slope is\[\frac{ units up }{ unitsover }\] Lemme know what you get. :)

y= -1/6x

@bruhhh

That's right, except it's positive because you went up, not down. :) So it looks like y=1/6x. Hope that helps!
