Medal and Fan @iGreen @Secret-Ninja What is the slope-intercept form of the function that contains the point (–1, 5) and has a slope of –4? y = x +

OpenStudy (igreen):

We can first put it in point-slope form. \(y - y_1 = m(x - x_1)\) Where \(y_1\) is the y-value of the point, \(x_1\) is the x-value of the point, and \(m\) is the slope. So can you plug (-1, 5) and 4 in the formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you @iGreen

OpenStudy (igreen):

Tell me what you get.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -4 x + -1 is this right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iGreen i put my best answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it right or wrong @iGreen sorry i'm not good at math
