If you answer this I'll medal you Why aren't the Anti-Cheating rules placed in the CoC which is supposed to tell you the rules?
They are in terms and conditions
i would think you should know not to cheat but they are in the terms and conditions
"OpenStudy values the Learning process - not the ‘Give you an answer’ process Don’t post only answers - guide the asker to a solution. Have homework problems? We can help you - as long as you are looking to learn how to get your solution (and not just the answer). Please do not copy and paste your problems. If people are going to spend time to help you, you should at least spend the time to ask your question as clearly as possible. Don't devalue the question/answer process! Don't provide someone with just the answer - explain the process, and help guide them through understanding the problem. Don't just provide the answer to a problem when someone else is in the middle of helping! But if you want to help, by all means, join in!" This is from the CoC and they are anti-cheating rules.
And a lot is in the TaC also...
Coc is for how you act
and rules
yeah but the CoC is the first thing u see should be where the rules are.
This is the Anti-Cheating policy: Posting questions from tests, exams or other third party content may be an infringement of copyrights of the owner of the posted content. If you feel there is an error, You may email contact@openstudy with an explanation but You acknowledge that the determination to remove content or suspend, ban or otherwise remove a User from the system is within the sole discretion of Company.
@DiamondBear3299 YOU must follow TaC
TAC are warnings
i get what your saying @DiamondBear3299 but there are two sections with rules the coc http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct and the tac http://openstudy.com/terms-and-conditions
Terms and Conditions arent really rules
yeah ik that nowwww
So not cheating are good for the other schools
And schols dont want them cheating
Actually, you need to follow both sets of rules. Those sets of rules which describes about how your conduct should be on OS are kept under CoC. While those sets which describes what Terms and Conditions you should agree before using the website are kept under Terms and Conditions. I repeat you need to know both of them \(\huge \ddot \smile\)
When you signed up you agreed to the terms and conditions. And in the TaC is the anti-cheating Rules. Also in the TaC it says that users must follow the CoC..
