Can someone help me? I really need help with this history :$
what is ur question?
I can help. :P
okay. thank you :3 If provoking the Native Americans to fight against patriots is a grievance listed in the declaration and Jefferson lists life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as natural rights, which of these was violated by the king provoking native Americans to fight against patriots?
is it too hard? :(
@neko_of_hearts where are youuu D:
someone helppp :(
They are all violated in a way. Life: The King went against the colonists way of life by turning the Indians against them to fight. And also (in a way) the Indians way of life. Liberty: The King was basically taking away both the colonist's freedom and the Indians. For the colonists, oppression. And for the Indians, forced arms against the colonists. Pursuit of Happiness: This one could be stretched, but... The King used the Indians to gain his own happiness, instead of letting both the colonists and the Indians pursue their own. Again, all three of these take away some sort of freedom from either the colonists or the Indians. Hope this helps some :)
ooo it does! thanks :)
can I ask you another question?
@Lady.Liv1776
Of course :)
What are natural rights? with definition
Natural Rights: political theory that maintains that an individual enters into society with certain basic rights and that no government can deny these rights. These include life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc.
ooo oki! thankiess again <3
waitt! one more questionnnn @Lady.Liv1776
what did the philosophical movement work towards or attempt to change?
Philosophical movement in the colonies?
Also known as Transcendentalism, this movement worked to changed the intellectual viewpoint. "Among the transcendentalists' core beliefs was the inherent goodness of both people and nature. They believe that society and its institutions—particularly organized religion and political parties—ultimately corrupt the purity of the individual. They have faith that people are at their best when truly "self-reliant" and independent. It is only from such real individuals that true community could be formed."
O_O I just got confused @Lady.Liv1776
and yes in the colonies
Haha ok... there were several, so I may have explained the wrong ones. The one I mentioned was in the 1830's. Can you give me a year?
Oh, and do you mean more of the political philosophical movement? or Religious?
