@iGreen

60 70 80 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what theorem will help you solve this?

A, D,E,H are all equal C,B,G,F are all equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take a look at the picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i seen that before im somewhat familiar with it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the picture I've posted, angles 1 and 2 are equal by the Alternate Interior Angles Theorem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, looking at your picture and knowing that you have x, 20 degrees, and 80 degrees, try making an equation out of it. x + 20 = 80. What must x be to make both sides equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for helping me get clarity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Don't know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem, you can use this method for similar problems as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I most certainly will!
