OpenStudy (anonymous):

@HawkCrimson so wats the anwer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np :) can i get a medal though? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@HawkCrimson this one?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

do you know how to find the slope given 2 points..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no is this c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well here is something to do, as a check, you are told there are two linear equations which means they form straight lines. can you draw 2 straight lines that intersect twice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it c @campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well you are saying by selecting c you can draw 2 straight lines that intersect twice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please @igivemedalsandfollow! show your attempt at the problem, campbell is trying his best to help you but you are avoiding what he's asking you to do, so if you would like to learn how to do such problems, please listen to cambell, thanks.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

or... draw a number plane, plot the points and see what happens...

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

here is my attempt |dw:1421043782124:dw| now plot the points (0, 5) and (4, 2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it b

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

is that what you found when you plotted the points and created the lines...? if so the you have the answer. I would recommend that you use https://web.geogebra.org/app/# its a wonderful tool that will allow you to plot points and draw lines... its should enhance your understanding or this topic. I recommend you bookmark it and refer to it regularly

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

right click on the screen to and show the grid then select the tool with the line passing through 2 points having it highlighted will allow you to plot the points from the table and then see the lines... makes life easy

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

I didn't realise there was a web based version of Geogebra, but it truely is the best thing you can use for these questions.
