I need a little help, I will medal
What's the question?
what is your question?
Okay for an assignment I had to answer one of each; a slope-intercept, standard for, and point-slope form. The last part of it is coming up with two different ones. I can't think of any. I'm not asking for the answer i just need help... i can tell you what it tells me sorry it took so long
that is fine
so are you going to post all your questions?
oh yeah
okay
Now it’s time for you to write your own equations of lines in different forms. First, take a look at some other situations that could involve equations of lines. David decides to put aside some extra money until he has enough to buy a new… On a hot summer day, the outside temperature increases… After months of training, Bryn’s time for running a mile… The store manager keeps careful track of… Using two (2) of these ideas, or two other ideas that you come up with on your own, write a brief description of each situation. Then write equations for both situations in different forms. For both equations identify in what form the equation is written. Finally, give two characteristics of each line (such as slope, x-intercept, y-intercept, or a point) based on the equations you wrote, and explain what these characteristics represent for the situation.
it gives me something to start with, but i still cant think of anything to end it with or what numbers to use
can you rewrite this?
Rewrite it how?
nvm
okay?
so show YOUR worK.
i can do the work i just need help making the equation
okay so what do you think it should be as the equation?
Understand that a relationship between two variables, x and y, is proportional if it can be expressed in the form xy = k or y = kx. Distinguish proportional relationships from other relationships, including inversely proportional relationships (xy = k or y = xk). For example: The radius and circumference of a circle are proportional, whereas the length x and the width y of a rectangle with area 12 are inversely proportional, since xy = 12 or equivalently, y = x12.
Umm I don't know i thought of doing: the store manager keeps careful watch on how many costumers come in during a certain hour of the day for two days... but i feel likes it stupid
no that sounds good to me if you think so.
Okay but I need help on what form to do it in, plus what number to use
use x-intercept
that is what i have to find, I have to use either: slope-intercept- y=mx+b, point-slope form- y-y1=m(x=x1), or standard form- Ax+By=C
hmmm.... I would go with standard form
okay, but what numbers should i use?
whatever numbers you want!
but that's why i asked the question i dont know what numbers to use
just use whateverlike 12
