@Crissy15 @Pawtpie
is he right
like ur pic
B can't be right because that's too many apples for the ratio
There's 1:6 oranges and 5:6 apples
so A?? LOL
ANYBODY STILL THERE
I'm still checking but I don't think any of these can be a correct answer actually
Okay actually
TAKE your time my mom is not ad today
ad = mad
A doesn't work either I think
I don't think any are correct, any suggestions?
copy and paste in a new tab
For each choice, add the number of apples and oranges to find the number of pieces of fruit. Then see if the total number of pieces of fruit is 6 times the number of oranges. I quote @mathstudent55 usually good at math but not on
Oh I think I see now
ok this is the resort of pasting A. 3 oranges and 15 apples
I mixed it up, 1/6 is one orange out of the TOTAL, and I was just thinking of apples
so is a or b
B is one orange and 6 apples so the ratio of oranges in the bunch would be 1/7
Which isn't equal to 1/6
ok so he waz right
A has 3 oranges and 15 apples, that's a total of 18 fruit. So the ratio of oranges in the bunch is 3/18 or 1/6
The number of of oranges to apples is 1:5 there are 6 fruits in all and 1 of them is an orange I'm confused now
so guess what im going to need help with 5 more ?'s
Openstudy is here to guide you :)
