OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

@sleepyjess @Daniellelovee could you help me please?

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

@shinebrightlikeadimon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

give me a second trying to finish a test

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Alright!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry not good with graphs

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Ok that's fine.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

@sleepyjess @Abhisar @undeadknight26 @blurbendy

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Do you know how to find slope? y2 - y1/x2 - x1

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Yes I do

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

but pretty much just on a graph or when given points

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Alright so graph y = x - 9...

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

ok

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

IM lost.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

@undeadknight26 I really appreciate the help and I like it when people explain it and don't give direct answers, but I'm in a huge hurry too get this done and I have a few other questions and so it would by hugely appreciated if you just tell me the answer then explain so I can submit my homework. But explain after so I understand

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Sorry as i said i forgot this stuff... @armine @freckles @HelpBlahBlahBlah @KamiBug @Reaper534 @Rockiee

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

ok

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

@mathmate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What ?

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Please help

OpenStudy (freckles):

is there a question with this picture ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its A or C but idk

OpenStudy (freckles):

Oh i see the question is in another picture

OpenStudy (freckles):

lol

OpenStudy (freckles):

what is the slope of y=x-9 ?

OpenStudy (freckles):

y=mx+b tells us the slope is m so the slope of y=x-9 is?

OpenStudy (freckles):

anyways that is pretty straightforward so to find the slope of the one in the graph format we will just need to count a little For example I see (0,-1) and (1,1) . Count your horizontal change and your vertical change. slope is positive since the line increases in y value as x increases so anyways slope=vertical change/horizontal change
