which line is the graph of the eqution 2x+5y=10

@bruhhh

Alrighty, first you gotta simplify the equation to get it in y=mx+b format :) So: 2x+5y=10 5y=-2x+10 y=-2/5x+2 So you look for which line would have a point at the 2 on the y-axis.

Then the slope is -2/5, meaning they went down 2 from the y-intercept and to the right 5. Can you tell me which line that is? ^.^

D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooh you're so close. The y-intercept is a positive 2, so the line will be up top, either A or B :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A

It's B! It is kinda confusing because they're so all over the place, but B is the only one that has a y-intercept at positive 2, and follows the slope Hope that makes sense!
