OpenStudy (igster1112):

Doesn't -6 + 6=0?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yes.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

For absolutely any number \(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm c }\), -\(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm c }\)+\(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm c }\)=0

OpenStudy (igster1112):

-3 + 6

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

k, what is \(\large\color{slate}{ 6-3 }\) ?

OpenStudy (igster1112):

3

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\large\color{slate}{ -3+6 }\) is same as \(\large\color{slate}{ +6-3 }\), which is same as \(\large\color{slate}{ 6-3 }\).

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So your answer is 3.

OpenStudy (igster1112):

Oh ok so when I am subtracting intergers i change the ssign and add the opposite?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example u have -3+6 then u must take the sign of maggior number so it six so 3 when u have for example 3-6 u take already the maggior and its -3

OpenStudy (igster1112):

Oh ok i get it. Thanks
