Can someone tell me what to do on this question for a medal?!?!

The table shows data from a survey about the number of times families travel by car or taxi during an average week. The families are either from a rural town (population under 5,000) or a large city (population over 1 million): Rural Town City 0 0 0 0 1 2 3 2 7 4 7 8 7 10 14 12 14 16 20 20 45 20 Which of the choices below best describes how to measure the center of this data?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Don't worry what the last sentence says. Also, the second set of numbers below "Town" should actually be below City.

@mathstudent55 Can you help me?

OpenStudy (phi):

the center of the data is the median. You find it by sorting and finding the middle number. It already is sorted, so count and find the middle number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? Is that it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess it is. Thanks.

OpenStudy (phi):

if we combine both columns into 1 sorted list, we have 22 numbers. there is no "middle" number so we take the average of the 11th and 12th number
