PLEASE HELP ME. The grocery store sells kumquats for $4.25 a pound and Asian pears for $2.25 a pound. Write an equation in standard form for the weights of kumquats k and Asian pears p that a customer could buy with $18. 4.25k + 2.25p = 18 4.25k = 2.25p + 18 4.25p + 2.25k = 18 4.25 + 2.25 = k
A
Kumquats, and @hannaolsonnn don't give out the answer directly..
I was gonna say B
sorry im new here :( @im.celibate
What do you think the answer is?
Well i thought it was C first but i guess i was wrong according to these other answers.
the answer is not c. So you can cross those out.
Hint: use this. k=kumquat p=pears another hint: it will be something plus something = $18 stand form is like x + y = 1 4.25k+2.25p=18? Yes, that's the correct answer.
The answer is A. Let me explain
k=represents the number of kumquats bought, it could be 1,2,3,4.... p=represents the number of asian pears bought it could be 1,2,3,4...
oops sorry I got mixed up it's A
@im.celibate is correct
