what is the equation of the graph shown?

@Directrix

OpenStudy (danjs):

The tangent of an angle is on the unit circle is defined as \[\tan(\theta) = \frac{ y }{ x } = \frac{ \sin(\theta) }{ \cos(\theta) }\] Where does the tangent function cross the x axis, when y=0. When y is zero, that means sin(angle)=0. That occurs at angles of 0 and pi radians. So the regular old Tangent function crosses the X axis at zero and pi degrees.

OpenStudy (danjs):

The one in the picture crosses the x axis, at pi/4, which is shifted that amount.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it b?

OpenStudy (danjs):

Graph tan(A*x + B) add sliders for A and B and play around and see what changing A and Changing B does to the graph. on that desmos site

OpenStudy (danjs):

B translates A changes the frequency

That description reminds me of this.
