OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):
2l+8=28
a+2l=28
OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):
l=10
a+10=28

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AlexandervonHumboldt2
OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):
hmm i dont know @campbell_st
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
so find the slope of BC the altitude is perpendicular to to BC
you need to find the slope of the altitude... and the line passes through A
so you have a point and a slope... so you can find the equation.
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
@AlexandervonHumboldt2 can you stop giving answers.

-4/3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Okay A.. haha I knew that O_O thanks
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Wait... its supposed to be in standard form not slope int form
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
correct..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Is it still correct?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):
well the slope of BC is correct... what is the slope of the perpendicular
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Which is the perpendicular?
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
so if you know the slope of BC, the slope of the line perpendicular to BC is the negative reciprocal...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So postive 4/3.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
But since it needs to be in standard form it would be B?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):
close its positive, but what is the negtative reciprocal of- 4/3
its
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh. Uh 3/4
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
and B is the correct answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I have another question with points, do you have time for that?
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
just post it and there are lots of good people who can help
