Which personal pronoun agrees with its antecedent and correctly completes the sentence? Everybody will have a chance to pick out __________ own souvenir. A. your B. our C. their D. his or her
C?
I thought so too.
But it could be D.
yeah I agree I think C sounds most logical
I found something online that was talking about plurals and it said 'their' is a plural form or whatever, so I thought it might be both for singular on this question. I didn't know though.
I think this is plural because it is talking about everyone, get it?
Their is owner ship and plural
'His or her' is singular, and 'their' is plural. But I don't even really remember most of what the website I had found talks about. I will look into the website you sent me.
so based on that website D is the correct answer
Oh, okay. That is what I had thought, but I was unsure. Thank you. :)
yeah lol is all on the website I sent (I fell for the trick too :)
I think D is wrong because the sentence says that EVERYONE so there for it means more then one So I think its C. If I am wrong please tell me!
Ok, I will put in my answers and see if it's wrong or right.
read the website @dancesmartgirl25 maybe you can find it :) https://depts.dyc.edu/learningcenter/owl/agreement_pa.htm
I Did and I still think my answer is right
Could you guys help with another question?
if it was their then it would be disagreement and the questions wants you to find the pronun-antedescent agreement and sure :)
Sure!

C
Ok. :)
Thank you.
You're welcome! Hopefully I am correct and please tell me if im not I dont want to make anyone fail something
but one is singular shouldn't it be his or her since they are also singular?
I have a few more that I don't really understand... Do you guys think you could help me a few more please? :)
@Daniellelovee I have no idea. XD
I am just trying the answers. If they aren't right I'll try again.
:P
btw the first one was wrong and @dancesmartgirl25 was right (I revised it) and everybody is plural therefore it has to be their since it is also plural
Oh, ok. :)
Thanks for telling me @Daniellelovee :) Hopefully I didn't come off mean
:) yeah I went back to the website and noticed what they meant by agreeing and disagreeing and NO not at all ^.^ freedom of speech lol
