Which is the best example of how geography influences history? A. China's civilization developed uniquely from other early civilizations. B. Hammurabi introduced the first set of written laws in Babylon. C. Thebes became the capital of Egypt under Ramses II. D. No one is certain why the Indus civilization declined.
@DareyBeary01
This one I have no idea.
What can you eliminate?
D sounds like it could be eliminated
Umm.. I think I can eliminate A.
Yeah D too.
A and D, yes, can be eliminated. So B and C are left. One of them don't really have much to do with geography do they?
Yeah. So the answer would be C, right?
Well...
That's what I'm thinking.
I'm not sure what written laws have to do with a geographical location.
I was thinking B though...
Why @EclipsedStar ? Could you give an explanation?
I'm completely willing to agree, but I need to know why your reasoning is better than mine. :p
Wait why did I type B? lol I meant D, sorry
o-o
Okay, do you have an explanation?
If I recall correctly it was a really fertile place, and it suddenly died out. People think it's due to geological reasons, like drought. I guess it could work. It certainly changed history.
Well, the Indus civilization was located in hills and if I recall had in a geographical disaster.
Lol @kohai
That civilization was advanced.
Then it suddenly died out.
Sooo.. go with D?
That's what I'm thinking. ;)
That's the only one with reference to geographics
That is a good reasoning @EclipsedStar .
@kohai do you agree?
Alright, I am going to go with D. Thanks @EclipsedStar and @kohai
Could you help me out with a few more?
I can agree. Close this question and post a new one. It gives everyone equal opportunity to help you.
Okay, thanks guys!
