How did the introduction of the horse to North America by the Spanish change the lives of Native Americans? A. Pacific Northwest Indians could hunt buffalo more efficiently. B. Eastern Woodland Indians drove the Spanish off their lands. C. Plains Indians could travel farther and conduct more trade. D. Southwestern Indians could plow their fields more quickly.

Tribes lived on the edges of the great plains for the most part. vers. With the introduction of the horse, tribes were able to cover a larger area and hunt buffalo effectively. After they got horses they were able to move into the plains and become the tribes we think of.
