Anyone willing to help me out with a few algebra 1 questions? It's about ratios if that helps. 1) The ratio of the areas of two rectangles is 4 to 5. If the area of the larger rectangle is 125 square feet, what is the area of the smaller rectangle? a. Define the unknown variable (1 point) b. Set up a proportion that represents the problem and solve it (3 points) c. If the ratio of the two rectangles remains 4 to 5, is it possible for the area of the smaller rectangle to be 10 square feet and the area of the larger rectangle to be 15 square feet? Explain why or why not. (2 points) 2)
I will fan+ medal if that helps.
1)divide 125 by 5 it equals 25 multiply 25 y 4 it equals 100
for a do you have to write an equation for the first problem?
i don't think so.
@Mehek14
then you need just the definition?
yes basically i want to know HOW to do this. I don't want people answering my problems for me. Just help getting there :)
@Mehek14
I can open up another question so i can medal you more @Mehek14
ok but i can only help you for the unknown variable cuz i have to go so hurry
