@misty1212

OpenStudy (misty1212):

hi!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi

OpenStudy (misty1212):

you have to multiply all by \(-y\) which means change all the signs add one to each exponent on the y terms

OpenStudy (misty1212):

\[-y(6x^3-7x^2y+xy^2+5y^3) \] \[-6x^3y+7x^2y^2-xy^3-5y^6\] is what you should get when you are done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@misty1212 i tried that but the computer said it was wrong :(

OpenStudy (misty1212):

yeah cause i made a typo on the last one

OpenStudy (misty1212):

should be \[-6x^3y+7x^2y^2-xy^3-5y^4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks
