if not, use https://www.desmos.com/calculator just enter the 2 equations and find the point of intersection

or if you want to use pencil and paper create a table of values for both lines use x: -1 : 0 : 1 -------------- y: : : substitute each x value to get a y value. plot the 3 ordered pairs for each line then read off the solution. hope it helps
