Someone please help me .I just need someone to make sure Im correct. What is the 2nd term when -3f^3 + 9f + 6f^4 - 2f^2 is arranged in descending order? -3f^3 9f 6f^4 -2f^2 I want to say -3f^3 but I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf 6f^4\underline{-3f^3} - 2f^2 + 9f\)

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Yep :) Descending order is the highest exponent to the lowest exponent. In this case, \(\sf 6f^4~-~3f^3~-~2f^2~+~9f\)

Thank you so much!
