So this question wants to know what the standard form of the equation 5x = 4y – 3 is. I think its a kind of linear equation... if that means anything XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@swissgirl do you mind helping me?? After you finish whatever youre doing of course XD

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

standard form of a line is ax+by=c So for now our equation is 5x=4y-3 We need the y and the x on the same side of the equation. How do you think we should proceed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um... ok so add 4y to the left side?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

hmmm slight error .....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you add 4y to 5x ?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Nooo like we need to remove the 4y from one side and bring it to the other side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH! oops XD so its 5x - 4y = -3 ?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Yup lol :D

Ok cool!!! thankyouu!!
