All DNA looks pretty similar. Its a stringy rubbery substance. It is usually suspended in the solution which you extracted it from. If you use a loop you can pull it out of solution. The Woolite is used to break down the membranes of your cheek cells. The membrane is made out of molecules called phospholipids. These have similar properties to fats, and using the Woolite breaks the membrane up, just like it would dissolve fats or oils on clothes.
