Please explain as well so I can understand how to do it. Thank you xxxxx

\[(-4^{-6})(-4^{7})\] Since -6 is an exponent, and you cant have negative exponents, you need to make into a fraction. \[(\frac{ 1 }{ -4^{6} })(-4^{7})\] Simplify by applying the powers. \[(\frac{ 1 }{ 4096 })(-16384)\] Now just multiply and divide. -4 would be you're answer.
