Retention? What do you mean?
Held back?
Today is the end of first semester and i ended with really bad grades i mean unspeakable for my knowledge, and yes held back
I am homescholed
Homeschooled*
That's gonna solely depend on your school, state, etc. From my state, as long as you pass the state tests you will move on.
I am in Connections
This year we do not have State test
Hey there @dtan5457 has done quite a good job explaining your question please stop tagging people
I have a really bad overall percentage of 63 I have a F on French and Earth science.
I just like to know if i did way better next semester will i be held back still or?
Not sure, but if I may ask, how did you end up with a 63 average?
:/ Well i had lots of trouble comprehending French online and Earth Science we had lots of Labs and i got behind on them and so on :/ but if i did my best and finished next semester with a 89 percent overall will i still be held back?
For something that important, ask a teacher or email your school. We can make assumptions but we won't really know.
But the thing is i am scared to :/
you shouldn't ever be scared to ask for help
I can relate here and there...but they will find out soon...so, might as well show your honesty and give it up.
Let me complete all these lessons and then if your on we will talk :D
Alright, I'm gonna study too. Gonna be around though.
Ok right now i need help in french
Know a user that knows french @dtan5457
@Here_to_Help15 On that retention thing, the way the layout of the graded assignments looks to me, the course grade comes from all the grades the entire year rather than taking the average of the the two semesters. You could ask how the course grade is computed. I'm thinking that it is not the average of the two semesters which means it will be easier to pull up your grades if you do better work the second semester.
