Which sentence has no errors in the use of quotation marks, italics, or underlining? A. We're supposed to read the chapter The Countess de Winter by Thursday. B. We're supposed to read the chapter The Countess de Winter by Thursday. C. We're supposed to read the chapter "The Countess de Winter" by Thursday. D. We're supposed to read the chapter "The Countess de Winter" by Thursday. In B. The Countess de Winter ...is going to be underlined
Do any of them have italics?
The Countess de Winter in D is suppose to be slanted to the right a bit
Okay! So what do you think the answer is?
C
Hmm ... One question, in A. are the words slanted?
Sorry i messed up A is the one with the under lined words
The Countess de Winter in A is suppopse to be underlined i am so sorry
Well, now I am not sure, but I THINK C is correct. You should wait to get someone else's opinion though.
And it's okay.
@Love_Ranaa
I think book titles are supposed ti be italicized, so...
So.....C?
Try is, as long as the words aren't italicized AND in quotation marks, because they're not supposed to be.
confusion
“The Countess de Winter” shouldn't be italicized and still be in quotation marks. It should be just italicized with no quotation marks. If it is italicized and has quotation marks both, that's wrong.
C. We're supposed to read the chapter "The Countess de Winter" by Thursday.
