What resources led to the the appearance of the Industrial revolution in New England?
The Industrial Revolution in New England was started by Samuel Slater who was a worker in an English cotton factory that escaped from Britain. He escaped because the English where keeping their industrial progress a secret, keeping it "on the down low' and forced all cotton factory workers from leaving the country. Once Slater arrived, he constructed a cotton-spinning machine for the Americans from his memory. naturally the Americas had cotton, tobacco, coal, and other mined metals. From trading they had sugar and slaves. So. to what helped the Revolution in New England, it could be all the natural resources like cotton and mined metals, since northern America was the location of many factories, and such they had all the materials they needed to build them and the machines in them. the local supply of cotton and slaves from the South keep the factories producing and it was full of un-paid employees leading to more profit. Which allowed for an accelerated growth during this period.
