In the formula for Horizontal Motion V=d/t what is v? ( this isn't a problem just a question)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is V gravity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is d? what is t? they are just letters, so is V

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d is distance and t is time i think v is velocity but i don't know what the velocity is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kind of catchy that if it is \[\frac{distance}{time}\] then \(V\) is the rate perhaps "velocity"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the formula i mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you drive 100 miles in two hours, your average speed is \(\frac{100}{2}=50\) mph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If i'm correct it's speed what satellite said. With formula..Ofcourse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question says fill in the table below showing the displacement in meters over the first eight seconds. so would 8 seconds be the time? and what is the speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

displacement means where you are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mile marker 2, mile marker 250 etc
