OpenStudy (mr._scampy):

How would I go about finding the values of x that would make arccot(cot(x)) = x? Would it be all values within the restriction (0, pi)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it will be defined on all \(x\).

OpenStudy (loser66):

except x = 0 or x =pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess for large angles, it will reduce it back to the smaller angle

OpenStudy (mr._scampy):

There seem to be two definite intersection points within that restriction when I graph cosx/sinx alongside arctan(1/x), though.
