"# of times at bat" has a specific definition which excludes walks and certain other situations. .40 I 33 .41 I 0 .42 I 6778 .43 I 278 .44 I 667 .45 I 99 .46 I 8

R the 1st numbers decimals?

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

yea

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the row .42 I 6778 means we have these batting averages: 0.426, 0.427, 0.427, 0.428 that's how you read this stem and leaf plot

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

" What values for slugging average have a frequency of at least 2? " so you just need to write down the percentages that show up at least twice

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

oh ok so would it be .403, .427, .459, and .446?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yeah and 0.446 comes before 0.459 but that doesn't matter really you got all the percentages that happened at least twice

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

ok thanks!!!
