Read the following poem and answer the question that follows. "I Like to See It Lap the Miles" by Emily wingspaninson I like to see it lap the miles, And lick the valleys up, And stop to feed itself at tanks; And then, prodigious, step Around a pile of mountains, And, supercilious, peer In shanties by the sides of roads; And then a quarry pare To fit its sides, and crawl between, Complaining all the while In horrid, hooting stanza; Then chase itself down hill And neigh like Boanerges; Then, punctual as a star, Stop—docile and omnipotent— At its own stable door. This poem describes a train as if it were a horse. Examine the imagery of the line in bold. What does it describe? A train stopping to let get fuel and passengers A train showing up late to its home station A train breaking down in the middle of the track A train stopping to let passengers enjoy the view

Your welcome!

Ummm, in case you still need help, I believe the answer would be " A train stopping to get fuel and passengers." Since the line says the train's 'stopping to feed itself at tanks.' The train getting fuel and passengers can be seen as it 'feeding itself.'
