please help?
OpenStudy (somy):
i think its to do with isomers
structural isomers
OpenStudy (anonymous):
when the molecules are isomers to each other
OpenStudy (somy):
its really important in chemistry
you can have a compound having same composition
but the structure may be VERY different
and the structure determines how the substance will react
OpenStudy (somy):
like see you can have a compound having same composition
both are \(C_4H_10O\)
but look at their structure

so both have SAME composition
but their structure is different which makes them 2 ENTIRELY different compounds which ABSOLUTELY different reactivity/ properties even
