Check Please! @MSxSammiBooxX Consider the system of equations: 3x + 2y = 18 and x – 2y = 14. What property is used to transform the equation 3x + 2y + 14 = 32 into 3x + 2y + x – 2y = 32? subtraction property of equality -- addition property of equality multiplication property of equality substitution property of equality

I believe you are correct, although I want another opinion on this.

@Luigi0210 ;D

It took me a while to get this but I think it would be substitution? The 14=x-2y.. subbing that into 14 would work I believe. Unless I'm wrong and got it backwards?

Is there anyone else we can get an opinion from? @iambatman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with Luigi. I think it's a substitution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. Thanks! :):):)
